Balanced Income Portfolio

The balanced income program’s main objective is to secure income with moderate risk.

Producing Income
Moderating Risk

This program’s first priority is to seek income, and has capital appreciation as a secondary consideration.   It invests primarily in bonds and dividend paying common stocks, but it may also invest in convertibles, preferred stocks, and other securities. The portfolio may hedge for the reasons of reducing market or interest rate risk.

The assets in the income portfolio will be divided into a combination of two major asset classes: equity and debt securities.  The amount of weight designated to each asset class will depend upon market conditions.
